Best Ham and Cheese Sandwich
The ham and cheese sandwich is such a simple, good sandwich. I love to take this sandwich and make it a bigger and better sandwich. This sandwich can have such deep flavor and be a meal itself.
Usually I have ham and cheese and then a whole bunch of other stuff in my fridge that I just add to it. Sometimes I think the best sandwich or even the best meal is one you make up as you go. Adding your own touch and making it your own is the best. This recipe makes an ordinary sandwich even better.

Use any type of cheese you like. You can also add additional ingredients such as bacon or chicken. The options are endless.

Ingredients
1 Tablespoon of Butter
1 medium Onion sliced
2 pieces of Deli Ham
2 slices of Cheddar Cheese
2 slices of Bread
1 small Tomato sliced
1 Avocado sliced
Salt and Pepper to taste
Sriracha Sauce (optional)
Instructions
Use half the butter and add to hot pan. Melt the butter.
Add the onions and saute the onions until tender.
Remove the onions from the pan.
Add your ham and brown.
Remove the ham from the pan.
Butter your bread.
Add one slice of bread to your pan with butter side down.
Add ham, cheese, onions, tomato and avocado.
Add any special sauce you like.
Top with the other piece of buttered bread with the butter side on top.
Once the bottom bread is slightly browned, turn the sandwich over and cook other slice of bread until browned.
You are all done. Enjoy!
